Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 28 February 2026

This policy explains what is — and what is not — acceptable use of the Webtraditor Digital Trade Ecosystem.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use Webtraditor — the Digital Trade Ecosystem operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. It supplements the Terms of Service. A violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms.

2. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

• Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, corruption, or any transaction with a party subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by OFAC, HM Treasury, EU, UN, RBI or your competent local regulator.

• Upload, transmit or process content that infringes a third party's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.

• Upload documents containing personal data of third parties without their informed consent, or in violation of applicable data-protection law.

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, prompts, model weights, embeddings or proprietary rule-packs of the Service.

• Scrape, mirror, cache, republish or resell Academy content, rulebook commentaries or Trade Regula briefs.

• Overload the Service through automated requests, benchmark testing without written permission, or exceed the rate limits of your tier.

• Use the Service to build a competing trade-finance examination, LC-checking, Academy-style, rulebook-commentary, or trade-intelligence product.

• Represent AI-generated outputs as legal, regulatory, financial, investment or tax advice.

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any bank, regulator or firm.

3. Content standards

You must not upload, submit or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, threatening, or that promotes discrimination or violence.

4. Security

You must not: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or network; probe or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission (see our Responsible Disclosure Programme at /trust); interfere with the delivery of the Service to other users; or introduce viruses, worms, ransomware or other malicious code.

5. Fair use of AI features

The AI Trade Advisor, Daily Case Studies, rulebook commentary and Academy content generation are metered against your tier or token balance. You must not use scripts, headless browsers or unofficial API clients to abuse metering or free-tier limits.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected violation. If a violation is confirmed we may (at our discretion) warn you, throttle or suspend your account, remove offending content, terminate the account, and — where warranted — report the matter to law enforcement or your regulator. We may also charge you reasonable costs of investigation and remediation.

7. Reporting abuse

To report a suspected violation by another user, write to [CONTACT EMAIL] with details. We treat all abuse reports as confidential.

Template notice. This policy is a good-faith template drafted by the Webtraditor team. It is not legal advice. You must review and adapt it with qualified counsel in your jurisdiction (India, Singapore, EU, US, UK, GCC, etc.) before relying on it for a paid or regulated launch. Placeholders in square brackets — [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [JURISDICTION], [CONTACT EMAIL] — must be replaced with your registered particulars.
