Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with Webtraditor. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work across our subscription tiers, token bundles and one-off services.

1. Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services offered by Webtraditor operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], including but not limited to Academy subscriptions, Premium subscriptions unlocking the AI Trade Advisor and Trade Regula™, token bundles used for on-demand LC examinations, and one-off document reviews.

2. Free tier

The free tier is provided at no cost and requires no payment. Nothing in this policy applies to it. You may cancel your free-tier account at any time by deleting it from account settings or writing to [CONTACT EMAIL].

3. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your access remains active until the end of the paid period. We do not automatically pro-rate refunds for the remaining period once a billing cycle has started, except as set out below.

4. 14-day introductory refund window

If you subscribe for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your first payment. This is a courtesy window; it does not apply to renewals, re-subscriptions after a lapse, token purchases already spent, or paid one-off document reviews already executed. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] with your account email and reason; we process eligible refunds within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Token bundles

Tokens (used for LC examinations, guarantee vetting and other on-demand runs) are non-refundable once purchased, because tokens are consumed against LLM and compute costs incurred on your behalf. Unused tokens remain on your account for 12 months from purchase.

6. Failed transactions & duplicate charges

If you were charged twice for the same subscription, or your card was charged but no service was delivered, contact us with your bank statement extract at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We will refund the duplicate charge within 7 business days.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorised, please contact us first — we will almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing an unfounded chargeback while retaining service access is a violation of our Terms and may result in account suspension and recovery costs.

8. Enterprise contracts

Refund and cancellation terms for enterprise pilots, on-premise deployments and multi-year licences are governed by the executed Master Services Agreement between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] and the customer, and override this policy where in conflict.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund right you have under mandatory local law (e.g. Section 74 of the Indian Contract Act 1872, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). You always retain those statutory rights in full.

10. How to request a refund

Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address associated with your account. Include: the invoice number or Stripe/Razorpay payment ID; the reason for the refund; and (for the 14-day window) the date of your first payment. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to complete eligible refunds within 7-10 business days.
